Crossover - Crossover exists to reach Blessed Sacrament 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The ministry leads the students to share in God's Word; to offer themselves in service to Christ; and to care for one another. Weekly meetings after Saturday evening Mass.

His Way Ministry - His Way Ministry is a post-prison ministry. The mission is to respond effectively to the needs of ex-offenders, to help prevent crime, and to reduce recidivism. The core of the His Way Ministry consists of Christian men and women, called by God to offer solutions to the problems facing ex-offenders. Statistics indicate that over 60% of the inmates released or placed on probation or parole eventually are re-arrested for another offense within three years. Many repeat offenders simply knew nothing else other than to revert back to their old lifestyles or survival techniques. In some cases, ex-offenders, unable to adjust to life on the outside, commit more crimes merely to return to prison.

The His Way Ministry addresses the spiritual, physical, and mental needs of ex-offenders. The difficulty facing many ex-offenders is well documented. Many have trouble finding jobs, housing, and basic survival resources. Many have problems compounding the adjustment challenge: substance abuse, illiteracy, lack of social & employment skills, etc.

Respect Life Committee - Our purpose is to foster respect for the lives of unborn children and disabled people.

Members meet and pray in front of the local abortion facility on the 3rd and 4th Saturday of the month from 8-9 am. We also meet in the chapel to pray the Rosary on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 12 noon. We sponsor the Life Chain on the first Saturday of October from 2:30pm-3:30pm along Savannah Hwy. We attend the Stand Up For Life March and Rally in Columbia in January and the March For Life in Washington, DC in January.

We celebrate Respect Life Month with articles made available to the Parish and support the two local crisis pregnancy centers; Birthright of Charleston and the Lowcountry Crisis Pregnancy Center. All teens and adults are urged to join in these and other activities to restore legal protection to the unborn and disabled people.

St. Vincent De Paul Society - The Society of St. Vincent De Paul is an international Catholic organization of lay persons who seek to help those who are suffering through a person-to-person contact. The society has two aims: "To do a great deal of spiritual and temporal good to a few poor families in the name of Jesus Christ." (Manual, St. Vincent dePaul Society)

Members strive to achieve the Society's aims by visiting, in pairs, the needy within the parish area and providing such aid as food, shelter, financial assistance with utility bills or other needs often neglected by other organizations. Services are rendered regardless of creed, opinion, color, origin or caste. Monetary donations can be placed in the containers labeled "St. Vincent DePaul" located in the vestibule of the church.

Meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month 7:00 to 8:00 PM and are publicized in the parish bulletin.

Areas for Volunteers: Cooking of meals, baked goods and deserts, donation of paper goods and utensils, coordinate & schedule volunteers.
